Vanagon Sliding Door Adjustment

I need some advice on how to adjust the sliding door rear side so that the door lines up with the body panel. Is it leaking at the back. All sliding doors 85 and up use the same rear mechanism.

Currently it has a good flush alignment in the front but the rear sticks out around 15mm from the body panel.

Those would 2 different adjustments. Good thing i was repainting that cover anyway. I have an 86 vanagon sliding door that has always had trouble closing staying closed. The front and rear gaps are about the same 7 5 7 8mm.

Easiest adjustment is the big bolt on the rear frame center area of door that the latch mates with when door is closed. A picture woudl be helpful. Are the gaps in front and back with the door closed about the same width. To fix your van door and make it open smoothly get some spray oil like tri flow and spray oil on all the rollers top middle and bottom.
