Scrub down the wall to remove additional loose bits and debris from the foundation with a stiff bristled wire brush.
A parge coat on a block wall can cover damaged areas and give the wall a new look.
Spray a fine mist of water onto the foundation.
Repair damaged block walls.
Keep the first layer no thicker than 3 8 inch.
Placement with a mason s trowel scoop up mixture and apply over blocks or wall not more than 3 8 thick.
Make certain the surface stays damp ahead of the application of parging mix.
Step 2 clean the wall.
Use your trowel to create the desired surface texture whether you smooth it out or create a textured appearance.
